Comprised of over 1000 species of plants, the Myriad Gardens are separated into two regions: the Tropical Rainforest Zone and the Dry Tropical Zone. The Tropical Rainforest Zone, or the Wet Mountain, showcases plants from Southeast Asia, Amazonia, the South Pacific Islands and Central Africa. They must be watered daily. The plants in the Dry Tropical Zone, or Dry Mountain, come from Madagascar, Mexico and South America. They are purposely put into drought situation during the months of November through March and then systematically watered only during the summer months to promote their natural state in their native communities.

The National Cowboy Hall of Fame has been in existence since 1955. They offer educational programs to learn about the American West, like Tuesdays at Showdown (an adult educational program exploring old west art, culture, history and literature), Saturdays for Kids (in the spring and fall for kids 12 and under) and the Academy of Western Art Workshop (workshops that last either two days or one week and allow participants to use watercolors, clay, oil paints or acrylics). There are also exhibits and special events that go on throughout the year.

The National Softball Hall of Fame was created to induct players, coaches and umpires that personify excellence in their fields. This is a difficult honor to achieve, since less than 400 people have been inducted in the over 70 year history of the Amateur Softball Association.
